Kidder Mathews is pleased to welcome David Berookhim as Vice President at the firm’s San Fernando Valley office. He specializes in net lease acquisitions and dispositions—representing a diverse client base that includes national and regional franchise operators, high-net-worth individuals, real estate investment trusts (REITs), and private investment firms. His experience spans both portfolio and single-asset transactions, with deal sizes ranging from $1 million to over $80 million.
Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Berookhim spent nearly a decade at Marcus & Millichap, where he established himself as a top-performing investment advisor. Over the course of his career, he has completed more than $450 million in commercial real estate transactions across the United States.
“David brings a sharp investment mindset and a deep understanding of the net lease sector,” said Darren Tappen, Regional President of Brokerage. “He’s a valuable addition to our Southern California brokerage division and expands our reach in key markets.”
“What stood out to me about Kidder Mathews is the combination of autonomy and support,” said Berookhim. “It’s a place where experienced brokers can thrive—backed by thoughtful leadership, top-quality marketing, and a culture that values collaboration.”
